Stellaria Holostea. Also known as greater stitchworts. Masses of small daisy like white star shaped flowers open in the sun each day. They are an easy to care for evergreen perennial for full sun to full shade doing well pretty much everywhere as long as you are willing to water them. Small narrow dark green leaves are borne on sturdy but brittle stems which snap easily if rough handled. Small white flowers in spring to autumn are borne at the ends of the stems in profusion. As seed capsules ripen they can be heard popping in the sun. 40cm by 80cm.
