Magnolia Salicifolia. Also known as the willow leaf or anise magnolia. A small deciduous tree which bursts in to spectacular flower in early spring before the leaves unfurl. The flowers are small compared to other magnolias but plentiful and with 6 petals creating a more star shaped dainty flower. When the leaves finally appear they are long and narrow with a nice grey hue to them. Lovely golden foliage for autumn. Full to part sun. 15m by 15m.
