Scadoxus katherinae PICK UP ONLY. This African bulb is nothing but spectacular when in flower. Flower stems of up to 1m high produce large globe shaped influences made up of star shaped flowers of bright orange sometimes near red. Small green berries follow that ripen to red if the birds don't get them first. Large dark green rabbit ear shade leaves to 50cm tall. They will be evergreen if protected from the frosts. Full shade to part shade.
