Salvia meigans magic. An eyecatching salvia that grows to 1.m by 1.2m. Striking flower spires of velvet royal purple and pure white petals/ They are held along long arching branches. If you cut back lightly after the first flowering it should encourage another flush of flowers. Infact these beauties will flower from spring to autumn if you are lucky. Cut back hard in late autumn to promote a neat bush for the coming spring. Leaves and flowers have a lovely scent when brushed against. Drought tolerate and can handle light frosts too.
