Magnolia x Thompsoniana. A hybrid from Magnolia Virginiana. It has large creamy white very fragrant flowers in summer. The flowers are 15cm across. Fresh green ovate leaves in spring. This magnolia is semi evergreen meaning it depends on how cold it gets and how sheltered the position is to whether it will lose its leaves or not each year. Full sun to part shade. 5m by 3m.
