Jovellana Violacea. An interesting little sub shrub with small cup shaped flowers in summer. The unusual shape is often referred to as a teacup but we think it is more like a baby bassinet. They are soft pink to mauve with dark purple spots and yellow flare in the throat. Also known as violet slipper flower native to Chile and New Zealand. Grows well in full sun to part shade in colder climates needs a little protect from the harshest of frosts. Once established drought and frost tolerant. Semi evergreen. 1m by 60cm.
