Hydrangea Involucrata Hortensis PICK UP ONLY. A slow growing plant to 1 metre height with sterile very double florets in pink/apricot resembling bamboo rose. Very scarce and difficult to propagate. Beautiful form of hydrangea with fat buds like hazelnuts which crack open to reveal petals the colour of clotted cream, fading to a rich apricot. Crinkled hairy leaves. Prefers rich soil in light shade, but a little sun will promote the apricot colouring.
