Habranthus Tubispathus Copper. Small coppery orange, funnel to star shaped flowers held on sturdy stems 20cm in midsummer after dry spell and then a rush of water. Strappy green leaves follow the flowers. Best kept in a well drained pot as the flowers get lost in the garden until you manage to have a big clump. Native to Texas growing in gravely sand in the Edwards plateau. Full sun.
