Alchemilla Mollis. This ground cover is said to be prized by alchemists and used in the quest to turn base metal in to gold. They believed the water droplets caught on the leaves as one of the purest forms of water. Even if you are not on the quest to make your own gold this little perennial its well worth having in your sunny border garden even if its only to admire the water droplets that have been caught each morning. In summer masses of tiny yellow flowers in sprays sit above the foliage. 30cm by 30cm. Full sun to part shade.
