NARCISSUS

We specialise in miniature narcissus. These little cuties can be as small at 8mm across up to 4cm.

They are as varied in shape as they are in size some with trumpets other with small cups other shaped like hoop petticoats and then there's the cyclamineus type with their spectacular reflexed petals.

Daffodils prefer a full sun position but can tolerate partial shade too. the will naturalise nicely in the garden eventually creating a good size clump as they multiply each year given off small baby bulbs from the mother bulb.

Most daffodils tolerate a range of soils but grow best in moderately fertile, well-drained soil that is kept moist during the growing season. They are susceptible to rot when kept too wet, so make sure that you plant them in a well-draining spot.

Plant with the top or pointy end up about 2 times as as deep as the bulb is high. Sprinkle a little bulb fertilizer in the hole during planting.

Where winters are severe, make sure there are at least 3 inches of soil covering the bulb.
